Sustainable Cities + AOC Workshop Series

The Sustainable Cities and Act on Climate collectives are banding together to run a series of fortnightly workshops on organising skills, from May - August. This week's collective meeting will be the first of that series!

The Organising training series is for anyone interested in building their activist skills. It aims to build capacity in our collectives and broader movement.

Sign up to the series here for updates and resources after each session. Whether you're able to attend or not, you can receive the content from the workshops and stay in touch with any changes and communications on the topics of upskilling.

This week will be the seventh and final of the series - Visioning for the collective and movement (August 15th)

The most resilient, effective, intersectional movements have a strong sense of solidarity. This involves an awareness of what is happening in spaces other than those we are directly working in. The purpose of this workshop is to foster a stronger sense of solidarity in the work we envision and build on our understanding of social movements.

May 9 - August 15 Organising Training Series

Every second week our meeting will be structured with a 1.5 hr workshop to build our community organising skills, include dinner and half an hour of "meeting" items. The other week of the fortnight will be usual programming of meeting 6pm-7:30 with dinner.

The training series is for anyone interested in building their activist skills and aims to build capacity in our collective and broader movement.
