The Nuclear Free Collective's Art Auction was a wonderful event, where our local community came together for the first time in four years, and we had several generations of FOE Nuclear Free campaigners in the room, which was really special.
There were amazing art works, fantastic music and delicious food made by Food Not Bombs.
We raised around $20,000 which means we can continue the fight against radioactive racism and nuclear colonialism for another year. We want to thank all the artists and supporters who generously donated art works, the musicians that shared their wonderful music with us, the auctioneer and volunteers that helped on the day and everyone that came along and bought art, drinks and had a good time. We are keen to organise more events where our broader community can come together and make great things happen.
