Grampians communities have experienced out-of-control fires after the worst day for fire conditions since the Black Summer. Fire impacts ranged from people being directed to leave immediately, to staying alert. Multiple fires have had impacts on the lives of people and animals, while those in Pomonal have lost homes.
Solidarity through mutual aid ensures that we support communities directly during climate disasters. Here are a collection of resources and ideas on grassroots initiatives you could support.

- The Pomonal Grampians Recovery Volunteer Network is connecting people looking to help with others who can help deliver support.
- Pomonal Bushfire Recovery GoFundMe: On February 13th many local residents living in the township of Pomonal lost their homes and belongings or suffered damage to their properties.

Blaze Aid. Blaze Aid supports farmers who have had infrastructure damaged by fires. A coordinator is needed for the Grampians Area after current fires. Anyone interested, please contact Melissa ASAP on 0436316955.
