The snow gum summit will happen at Dinner Plain over two days – Friday February 14 and Saturday February 15. We will also be hosting guided walks on the Sunday February 16 (these will be offered separately).
We recommend you arrive in Dinner Plain on Thursday February 13.
Ticket sales will help us offset the considerable costs of running the event. We want to ensure that the event itself is as accessible as it can be by keeping the ticket costs low, and offering free tickets to First Nations people who want to attend.
The ticket covers:
- Entry to the two day event
- Morning and afternoon tea and lunch on the Friday, plus evening gathering and live music at the venue
- Morning tea and lunch on the Saturday
You will need to organise other meals and your accommodation.
You can also watch the forum online for a fee of $10 for the two days.
People who buy tickets will receive information on camping and accommodation options, travel options, plus a request for details on dietary requirements. If we have capacity we are willing to offer some assistance with car pooling/ ride sharing to get to the event.
Please note that because of the small size of the venue and strict limit on physical space, we will not be able to admit people who turn up on the day without a ticket. Because of space limitations we cannot offer one day tickets. Tickets will be limited to 80 people. If the forum is booked out you are welcome to go on the wait list by emailing: [email protected]
We are providing free ticket options for Traditional Owners, please email [email protected] to coordinate.
If you have the financial ability to provide an additional tax deductible donation to support us in hosting the event you can do so here.
