Come and join us online for our monthly meeting talking all things KOALA!
Are you interested to learn about the genetically robust and unique Strzelecki koala? This koala is of national conservation importance, yet it is a compromised population, with a population size estimated to include 2,000 animals.
This koala has been translocated to SA for its genetic significance, yet the Victorian government have shown no interest to help safeguard these koalas from climate-angry bushfires, logging, predation or car strikes.
We are hoping to build and strengthen our own team of volunteers to contribute to our SKAT Collective so that we can come together and help our beloved koala. Does this interest you, or do you know someone that might like to help us out?
If you love our fuzzy, dopey, warm national icon and want to know how you can help us to continue our work to advocate for this threatened koala population, come along and join us, so we can get organised online.
