It's time to reconnect with our food and the planet over some hot soup and some wonderful new films on food issues.
We'll revisit drawbacks of industrial farming, the food crisis and highlight the bright solutions like urban agriculture, food cooperatives and community supported agriculture taking shape around the globe. Discuss the latest updates on new and old food campaigns, plus you'll be given the opportunity to take some action of your own through letter writing, petitions, postcards and maybe a visit to the supermarket or a bit of local digging!Â
Be some of the first to see latest release films 'Fresh' and 'Homegrown', plus hear extracts from Vandan Shiva, Raj Patel, La Via Campesina and Michael Pollan.
