June 15 marks Global Wind Day -- a chance to celebrate and promote the benefits and opportunities in wind power.

Already wind power is making a massive contribution to action on climate change, creating new career paths for regional people, and there is still more that can be done.

FoE's Yes2Renewables campaign is coordinating a series of actions around the country to mark the day and provide a clear sign that people back wind energy, good jobs, and opportunities for regional communities.

With several offshore wind proposals in Gippsland, the region has a huge opportunity to lead the country in renewables.

This Tuesday 27th May, join Gippslanders and local organisers online for an action planning session. We'll be coming up with creative ideas for how Gippslanders can celebrate Global Wind Day and use the moment to build community power.
