Join us at our next monthly all-in Forests Collective meeting – and invite your friends!
At November's meeting we will hear from Kinglake Friends of the Forest about their amazing win in the courts concerning the protection of the Greater Glider & Yellow Bellied Glider. We'll also hear from other regional forest protection groups around the state about their upcoming events & how we can support them.
There will be report backs from our working groups and a discussion of each group's emerging strategy.
We'll also hear how our first Forests Collective citizen science training weekend went earlier in November.
See you there!
We acknowledge the Sovereign people and rightful custodians of the unceded lands that the Bush Country threatened by logging exists on, the Wurundjeri/Woiwurrung, Taungurung, Gunnai Kurnai, Bidawel, Monero, Dhudhuroa and Jaitmathang nations. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging & to First Nations people across so-called Victoria.
