Friends of the Earth's Forests Collective is meeting monthly again!
Forests Collective is a space for new volunteers to actively join Friends of the Earth's forest campaign.
We meet regularly on the 2nd Friday of each month, online via Zoom.
If your passion is forests & biodiversity, we'd love to have you involved!
At our September meeting we will:
- Organise a colourful mobilisation for threatened species coming up in October.
- Progress our campaign to protect snow gum woodlands from climate related threats like fire & die back, following our Snow Gum Summit.
- Discuss a Greater Glider spotlighting tour in October.
- Organise an upcoming working bee in the bush with Traditional custodians.
- Spotlight the work of other grassroots forest protection groups & and update you on any solidarity actions you can get involved with.
- Explore your interests & ideas as a new volunteer.
Look forward to meeting you!
