Victoria has a potential like no other, with an abundance of renewable wind and solar potential. We believe that by working together we can get a better, fairer deal for our communities by delivering the fast, fair and just renewables transition we need.
But too often ordinary people are denied a say over how their power is produced and priced.
Over the past six months, we have brought dozens of local people across Victoria into the first cohort of Energy Champions looking to build their confidence as leaders, tell a compelling renewables story, and campaign for change.
Now, it's time to bring them together in one place and start planning the Programme's next steps - and laying the ground work for our next trainings and further developing our leadership potential.
If you are an Energy Champion training attendee, we invite you to bring along people from your campaigns, communities and networks who would benefit from our future training sessions.
