Come and picnic with us in the heart of Strzelecki koala home-land.
It's been a pretty big year for the Strzelecki koala thanks to the SKAT collective who have been in full-force behind the advocacy, profile-raising and citizen-science, as we continue to better understand this unique population of koalas found in the Strzelecki Ranges and surrounding Gippsland Plain.
Let's come together for a final hoorah for the end of the year to reflect and celebrate the triumphs and collective effort of the good people that are activated and energised about working towards a future where koalas can thrive and sustain themselves.
We will also celebrate the upcoming return for 2,000 ha of land to be added to the Brataualung Forest Park, which will soon total approx. 4,000 ha of reserved land in the heart of the Strzelecki Ranges. The Brataualung Forest Park was first established in 2018 and is expected to total 8,000 ha by 2028. Join us for a celebratory photo.
