Citizen science training weekend

Come camp out for the weekend in the beautiful Central Highlands, 1.45hrs from Melbourne. Learn the different tools & techniques that citizen scientists use to identify threatened species and habitat in Victoria's native forests.

Arrive Friday evening & stay until Sunday afternoon to enjoy a full weekend of training, forest adventures & social time to connect with other volunteers.

This training will equip you to assist the regional forest protection groups who are surveying in their local state forests across Victoria.

RSVP for an itinerary, our COVID policy & what to bring.

We acknowledge the Sovereign people and rightful custodians of the unceded lands that the Bush Country threatened by logging exists on, the Wurundjeri/Woiwurrung, Taungurung, Gunnai Kurnai, Bidawel, Monero, Dhudhuroa and Jaitmathang nations. We pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging & to First Nations people across so-called Victoria.
