ANZ Bank funds and profits from Israel’s genocide and environmental destruction of Palestine.
In the last ten years, ANZ has facilitated over US $23 billion worth of bonds (borrowing money and selling the debt with interest) for Lockheed Martin. It is directly responsible for US $227 million of bonds.
ANZ Bank has direct ties to global human rights abuses and environmental destruction. ANZ’s harmful investments extend beyond weapons, as it is also Australia’s largest funder of climate-wrecking fossil fuel projects, pouring $19.8 billion into coal, oil, and gas since the Paris Agreement.
