From September 17 - 23rd, groups from across the country will be taking action to demand action from decision makers to transform our transport system to one that is equitable for all.

ACTIONS HAPPENING THIS TRANSPORT EQUITY WEEK
- Sydney Road Accessible Tram Stops Campaign Community Rally - The SATS campaign will be launching the week of action with a rally to make Sydney Rd accessible for all!
- Sweltering Cities Busted Bus Stops Campaign Next Phase Launch - this will include a report on the accessibility and shade at thousands of stops mapped by volunteers. Sweltering Cities has collaborated with the University of Sydney and UNSW to deliver the upcoming campaign report
- Sustainable Cities - Friends of the Earth Melbourne will host a webinar to talk about what transport equity means to our communities, with key speakers from a range of orgs, and what we want our decision makers to do to enable this transformation of our transport system. We will be joined by special guest Bakari Height - Transit Equity Organiser - Labor Network for Sustainability U.S. more details to come...
