The time has come for us to step up and take action for better buses in the west!
Join us for a community led protest at Tarneit train station, 5pm on Wednesday 11th of December, to make some noise and let the government know that we demand funding for better buses in the next budget!
We are tired of being left behind when it comes to public transport, and want to see fast, frequent and connected buses for our communities in this term of government.
We are tired of paying the hefty costs of car ownership, and we want independence for young people and kids in our communities.
There is so much that the government can do to make sure we can all safely get to school, to the shops, work, and to move around our communities with ease!
Come along and show your support for better buses now!
This event will take place on the lands of the Wathaurong and Woiwurrung people of the Eastern Kulin Nations. We pay our respect to elders past and present, and acknowledge that sovereignty over this land, sky and sea Country has never been ceded. We also acknowledge the oldest living transport lines, the song lines of traditional owners of so-called Australia. Always was, always will be aboriginal land.
