Did you know that the transport sector is Victoria's second largest and fastest growing contributor to carbon emissions?
We've just launched a new campaign, Better Buses, focussing on more frequent, reliable and electric bus services to reduce emissions, create local jobs and connect our communities. Right now we need sustainable and accessible public transport for all, not more toxic mega roads that cause climate damage and threaten our health.
Come along to our fortnightly meetings to join our grassroots campaign working with communities towards a more accessible and equitable transport system - starting with better bus services across Victoria! No more waiting 40 minutes for a bus, or having to walk km's from your bus stop to the train station - we are advocating for more frequent and reliable services, as well as all buses to be transitioned to electric to decarbonise our transport system.
Everyone who wants to get involved is welcome to come along. No prior knowledge or experience necessary, just a passion for grassroots community and transport solutions.
