Act on Climate (AoC) has officially launched its new report, VIC Climate Resilience Inquiry Analysed: The leading concerns & adaptation solutions! If you missed it, want to share it or want a recap, there's a recording!

The launch of Act on Climate's Resilience Inquiry Report explored what it revealed about:
- the climate impacts front of mind of Victorians,
- how VIC communities can adapt to now unavoidable climate impacts,
- how they want to adapt, and
- people's priorities around what climate adaptation needs to look like.
We shared the report's findings, as well as how it can be used to help ensure just action on climate adaptation.
It shows how Victorian communities can and want to adapt, as well as inspiring examples of what community-led climate adaptation looks like. It reveals a strong united appeal for increased funding of climate adaptation, high concern for those most at risk in our communities and the need for localised, community-led climate adaptation, as well as the most popular climate adaptation solutions.
The data from submissions into the Vic Gov's Climate Resilience Inquiry is very telling and sends a very clear message - more funding of climate adaptation is essential and we need to be implementing climate adaptation solutions that keep those most at risk in our communities safe.
Will the Vic Gov hear it and listen? At the launch, we also took action together to back up Victorians' call for increased action on and funding of climate adaptation.
You can take join us in taking action by:
- emailing your state MP (you can use our pre-filled template!),
- calling your state MP,
- dropping off a printed booklet of the report, and/or
- setting up a meeting with them to talk about local climate adaptation.
