What: FUNdraiser art auction, Friends of the Earth.
When: Online from mid August and in person Sunday 15th September 2024. 12 noon to 5pm.
Where: In person event at Bright Brewery, 121 Great Alpine Road, Bright.
Why: Australia’s iconic snow gum woodlands and alpine ash communities are under threat from the increased frequency of bush fires.
Lack of live mature trees leads to lack of seed. No seed means no new seedlings to replace the burnt high country forests.
Up to 90% of our snow gum forests are under threat right now.
Come and join us on the 15th of September at the Bright Brewery.
There will be live music, info and merch stalls and gorgeous art works to view and purchase in a fabulous pub atmosphere.
All money raised will go towards saving our high country forests.
