Climate Resilience Inquiry Submission Making Party (F2F)

The Inquiry into Climate Resilience is an opportunity for the community to share  experiences, stories, concerns, and ideas for climate adaptation.

Do you think Victoria is prepared for incoming climate impacts? What do you think the state needs to do to prepare? Have your say to ensure VIC's climate adaptation is community led.

We're hosting a party to support each other in making submissions which will impact the inquiry. We'll be setting up a space for you to make audio, video, or written submissions, with suggestions, prompts, and collective help.

Your contribution can be simple or creative, but doing activities together, with food and ideas flowing is often better no matter what kind of approach you'd like to take.

The event will include information about the inquiry process, activity stations and creation booths, examples of submissions, guides, and in person help.

You can access our submission guide and fact sheets if you'd like to make a start or prepare beforehand.

This event is in person only and not available online. We are hosting an online submission making party on June 18th for those needing to join online.

NOTE: Friends of the Earth is a COVID-safe workplace. At face-to-face meetings, we ask that attendees are fully vaccinated.

We acknowledge that the lands we meet and work on across so called Victoria are stolen from First Nations people. There can be no climate justice without justice for First Nations communities everywhere. Solidarity with Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people under settler colonialism in so called Australia is critical in the fight for liberation from all oppressive systems that devalue and exploit people and the environment.
