WEBINAR: Kickstarting Offshore Wind

Victoria could soon be home to Australia's first offshore wind farm, the landmark Star of the South project. The opportunity to establish a whole new source of renewable energy and a new, jobs-rich industry in Gippsland is a significant opportunity to deepen action on the climate crisis that is too important to ignore.

On December 8th, Friends of the Earth's Yes2Renewables Collective will host a webinar on 'Kickstarting Offshore Wind' highlighting the voices of community leaders, unionists and international climate campaigners.

We will be discussing what the opportunity to establish an offshore wind industry means for climate action, and how we can make sure offshore wind delivers a just transition to renewable energy for workers and the community.

This event will be held online via Zoom -- RSVP is essential.
