Take Action

Heart in hand

Thanks for taking action! We are committed to overhauling how we handle consumption in Australia, and aim to do so by holding power-holders to account.

If you are interested in giving your time, no matter where you live, please fill in your details below. You don’t need any particular skills to volunteer, but it would be great to get a sense of how you like to use your time.  We operate under a working group model:

  • Strategy & Research handles our thinking and planning,
  • Content & Design handles our blog content and social media, and
  • Events & People handles events, actions and support of our distributed groups

Please let us know if there is a group in which you especially interested. Our new member inductor will give you a call to talk with you about how you can best be involved.

By entering your details here, you will also get our monthly newsletter, complete with blog content and updates.

You are also welcome to join our social media sites- Facebook and Instagram. You can also come to our face to face meeting or online meeting, held on alternate fortnights.  If you have any further questions, please contact anine.cummins@foe.org.au.

Will you volunteer?

Friends of the Earth acknowledge that we meet and work on the land of the Wurundjeri people and that sovereignty of the land of the Kulin Nation were never ceded. We pay respect to their Elders, past and present, and acknowledge the pivotal role that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people continue to play within the Australian community.
