Twitter 101: Skillshare

This event is held on sovereign unceded lands. While attendees can join from anywhere, this training will be broadcast from the unceded lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. The Sustainable Cities collective pay our respects to past and present Elders, and recognise the ongoing work that Wurundjeri people do to care for Country.

Calling all collective members, friends and anyone else fighting for climate justice!

We're holding a skillshare evening to boost your skills on one of social media’s most powerful political platforms - Twitter!

Now that Facebook is threatening our democracy by banning news, Twitter will become a crucial tool for sharing community voices and important articles.

In social media, we're all producers and consumers. This can be a daunting fact to consider when we try to do activism online.

Luckily, we have the tools to make the most of the vast world of social media. In this training, we will discuss pro-active and re-active media, strategies, and the ins and outs of Twitter.

Simply bring yourself, a note-taking device, and we'll see you there! No prior knowledge needed.

Sign up for Twitter before the event if you’d like to participate in the group activities!

Interested in joining? RSVP and we'll send you the Zoom link.

When: 6-7.30pm Thurs 25 Feb

Where: Zoom

This event is hosted by our Sustainable Cities collective, but open to all FoE collective members and volunteers.
