Sustainable Cities Collective Meeting 18 August

Did you know that the transport sector is Victoria's second largest and fastest growing contributor to carbon emissions?
But right now the road lobby is putting pressure on the Victorian Government to invest in massive, toxic toll roads, instead of much needed, accessible public transport.
Sustainable Cities is a grassroots campaign working with communities towards a more accessible and equitable transport system. This means investing in public transport and active travel (like bike paths and walking) rather than more mega roads that increase congestion and climate damage.
We'll be meeting on Zoom for our first few meetings back due to COVID-19, but hope to transition to face to face in a few weeks!
Everyone who wants to get involved is welcome to come along. No prior knowledge or experience necessary, just a passion for grassroots community and transport solutions.
RSVP and we'll send you the details of the Zoom link to join!

We acknowledge that wherever we are, we are on Aboriginal land, and that sovereignty was never ceded. We pay respects to Elders past present and emerging, and acknowledge that there is no climate justice without First Nations justice.
