Sustainable Cities campaign info night August

Let's get our city moving in the right direction!
I want to hear your Melbourne Sustainable City vision, share some of what I’ve heard are really important issues facing Melbourne right now, and start a path to get Melbourne on the right transport track. This campaign needs your energy, networks, input and passion!
The new Sustainable Cities campaign is working for a more liveable connected city. We want to see more investment in public transport, no new major roads, and encouraging active travel.
We all need better access to the opportunities Melbourne provides: to accessing education, jobs, health services, shops and our friends and families. While we are consistently voted the most liveable city in Australia, these are calculated for people on high incomes, living in the inner city, with access to many established services.
Transport is how we connect to people and places. Melbourne’s transport system needs profound improvements to provide the accessible, safe and enjoyable experience everyone demands.
This will be the first ever Sustainable Cities campaign event to get the Melbourne community engaged and moving in the right direction!
