SKAT Collective Online Meeting

Come and join us online for our monthly collective SKAT meeting talking all things KOALA!

We are calling out to those of you that are interested in helping us to better understand and protect the endemic and genetically robust Strzelecki/South Gippsland Koala. We will be providing our latest campaign updates so that you can stay in the know, so that together we can support our ambition to protect our beloved koala.

We believe that this species of koala may be able to better withstand climate change and disease due to its genetic diversity. We believe that there may be as few as 2,000 Strzelecki/South Gippsland koalas remaining in the Gippsland region so we want to grow and build awareness behind the importance and need for protection of this koala whilst also advocating for the sustained koala population of Victoria.

We are hoping to build our own team of volunteers to contribute to our SKAT Collective so that we can come together and help our unique koala. Does this interest you, or do you know someone that might like to help us out?

If you love our fuzzy, dopey, warm national icon and want to know how you can help us to continue our work to advocate for these at risk koala species, come along and join us each month on the first Thursday.
