  • Strengthen protections the Victorian Wildlife Act (1975), and educate community members about the protections.
  • Amend the Flora and Fauna Guarantee Act (1988) in light of the huge pressures that the Strzelecki koala are facing.
  • Conduct a public, 5 year audit of animal kills in South West Victoria looking at logging and plantation company responsibility, including for displaced animals.
  • Commit to working with koala experts and community on a plan to deal with the long term health and viability of translocated populations in South West VIC and SA.
