Friends of the Earth's Forests Collective is meeting again!
We are restarting our monthly meetings. The next one will happen on Tuesday September 21 from 7 - 8.30pm.
At our September meeting we will hear report backs from our newly formed working groups in our 3 key areas of work:
- First Nations solidarity.
- A rapid, just, and ecologically sound transition out of native forest logging.
- Supporting exisiting, grassroots forest protection groups across Victoria.
We will also hear from regional forest protection groups about their work and what actions participants can take to assist them.
For COVID safety reasons, this meeting will be hosted online via Zoom. You will be sent a Zoom link after you RSVP.
We acknowledge and pay our respects to the Sovereign people of the lands we're working to defend, the Wurundjeri/Woiwurrung, Taungurung, Gunnai Kurnai, Bidawel, Dhudhuroa and Jaitmathang people, as well as all other First Nations custodians across so-called Victoria.
