The Friends of the Earth Forest Collective meets 6pm every second Thursday upstairs at FoE to work together for the protection of Victoria's native forests.
Our precious native forests are still being heavily logged despite the efforts of local communities across Victoria to protect them, and despite being home to threatened species like the Leadbeater's possum, Greater glider and Sooty owl.
The FoE Forest Collective brings together people and groups stretching from the Central Highlands to Far East Gippsland to work together to finally get the protection our forests and their wildlife need.
There are heaps of different ways to get involved
Come to a Collective meeting to hear updates on logging, grassroots forest campaigns, upcoming events, sub-collective work and meet forest campaigners from across Victoria.
Join a sub-collective to take action through wildlife surveys, creative actions, city projections, consumer awareness campaigning, organising benefit gigs, tours, camps and events and lots of other stuff!
Or bring your own ideas and get the support of the forest conservation community.
Come and join in, for the forests! For the forest creatures! For local communities who love their forests!
