The Friends of the Earth Bookshop aims to participate in and support Friends of the Earth's campaigns and the broader environmental, social justice and human liberation movements through the provision of information and resources, skills and funds.
The FoE Bookshop provides a diverse & specialised range of books and information on Indigenous Issues, Environment, Health, Cooking & Nutrition, Natural History, Australian & International Politics, Activism & Philosophy, Women's Issues, Gardening & Farming, Alternative Technologies & Sustainable Living and more. We also stock a wide range, of ethical & sustainable products such as recycled stationery, political t-shirts, fair-trade hand-crafts, local handcrafts, hemp goods and more.
The bookshop is run by volunteers, and there are two volunteer shifts each day: 10am-2pm, and 2pm-6pm Monday to Friday, and 10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm on Saturdays.
